Yesterday I recapped the amazing weddings and couples I photographed in 2017, but I couldn’t finish a reflection on the year without sharing images from all of the portraits and lifestyle work I was able to do. I love shooting portraits just as much as I love documenting weddings and I think it’s because in all of it, photography is an honest art that documents humans as they are. It never fails to amaze me how beautiful people are when they allow their hearts to shine through their eyes and smiles and I am so grateful I have been able to document those moments and capture these gorgeous souls in an image.
Casey is an incredible photographer in DC and we spent a morning last spring drinking coffee at Grace Street (because duh, of course our shoot started with coffee) and wandering through Georgetown capturing some images of her gorgeous self. casey, you are beyond stunning and i am so happy i got to photograph you! thanks for an amazing morning!
if you've followed me a while, you probably know that i sometimes enjoy the beverage known as "coffee". these three ladies also sometimes enjoy said beverage and happen to be incredible photographers. after months of running into each other all at the same time at one Baltimore coffee shop or another, we decided to actually plan to get together last week. obviously, coffee was involved (Artifact Coffee, one of my favorites!), as was a photo spree afterwards in the beautiful Clipper Mill neighborhood next to Woodberry Kitchen.
it's been a while since i blogged this beauty, even though we've had some amazing shoots together recently, so i figured i'd better remedy that asap! back in march we roamed around Georgetown in DC (a neighborhood that has literally endless photo locations!) and shot some style photos and portraits for her blog. check out her beautiful self below!
finally FINALLY met this babe back in february after being Instagram friends for so long; that beautiful platform is seriously one of my favorite ways to meet amazing humans and olivia is no exception. obviously we had coffee and then wandered around shooting some photos of her gorgeous face! thanks for showing me your favorite back alleys lady -- can't wait to explore with you again soon!!
