I spent September 8, 2017 watching and documenting two of the purest, kindest, honest souls spend the day filling others with love – and pour that love into each other.
Every single moment – from their relaxed, easy, excited hours getting ready with family; their emotional and touching and intimate first look; their gorgeous ceremony in the woods of the Catoctin Mountains; the heartfelt and soulful words both spoken of them and from them during their toasts and reception; their hilarious and happy and fun and joyful reception – was overflowing with love and gratitude and respect.
I think I’m going to run out of happy and loving adjectives to describe Julie and Ryan and their wedding, so I will let these images tell the story of the beautiful day they said their vows surrounded by love under the trees.
All of the selfless vendors who served these two and helped such a beautiful day happen (although, to be honest, they could have been married in an abandoned alley in the middle of nowhere and it would have been just as heartwarming and moving) – thank you for your incredible work. It was an honor to photograph everything you did on 9/8/17.
